About the person behind the Blog.

Once apon a time a boy child was born in the vicintity of Lake Wobegone,  growing up surrounded by
Norwegian bachlor farmers. Garrison Keller couldn't be more spot on.

I grew to adult hood in this laid back area of the country.  Life was good, no sisters in the family, we grew
up without the knowing the meaning of Drama!

I was blessed with many natural talents from the parents, but being a natural athelete was not one of them.
That is OK because that's only inportant in your youth and I'm way beyond that place in my life.

Everything changed with the Vietnam War, young men from everywhere were drafted and taken away from their comfortable home and loving families.

That little bit is a start, I may make this my life history Journal, I've always admired people who could keep or write one.

THE ORDER OF CREATION

So I have a tree outside my window.
It's a flowering pear, now Winter is near.
Most trees have lost their leaves this time of year,
Not this variety, they hang onto their folage.




See it has a nice

What's with this, can
they choose to be different?

Or is it predetermined for
them to be different?

I have trouble believing
that all things come down
to personal choices.

I believe some things are chosen
for us, whether by a God or Mother Nature.

Halloween BOO! Who?

I hope everyone has a Scary Great Day!

Being self employed in this economy sucks in different ways than just being the worker bee.   I have a job that is consuming all my time, schedules to meet.  It will be going on for another month before its done. Which is a nice change because of the recession I've had almost nothing major to do for a year. The crew has all grown up and have moved on.

Anyway I will try to come up with better philosophical question when I get spare time again.

Settling ?

What is this with the younger generation all worried about Settling? 

In my day it was about choices, good choices, bad choices, and compromises.  Is't everything we choose in life a compromise to some extent, I don't think that just because we have chosen one thing over another that we have Settled. 

After all show me someone that has everything they wanted because they didn't Settle and I'll bet that I can show you a liar.

Glitches

Technical difficuties, internet access issues going on.

Religion is it our savior or our downfall?

It does so much good, yet in the name of It more blood has been shed in the history of the World than anything else.

Supreme Being

If Mother Nature is female, I guess that means God has to be a Dude?

Seriusly how can there be a Supreme Being when there are so many of them? (Allah, Budda, Jesus, Mormons, Thor, and Zeus)

What am I doing here? I don't know.

Well actually I've been reading Blogs for less than a year now, but for someone who has always been interested in observing people this is Nirvana. 

There are so many people that put their whole lives into the Cosmos of the internet that I'm sure it arouses the hidden voyeur in everyone on-line to read about their stories.
